Ruth's Way, Inc
We empower parents and guardians by teaching them, not just advising them, our proprietary "Blueprint-To-Achievement" barrier identification and resolution methodology, enabling them to identify and resolve the barriers that may impede their daughters' paths to success and enabling them to guide their daughters effectively, ensuring a brighter future for them and their daughters. At Ruth's Way, we're dedicated to turning parents into the architects of their daughters' success.
Ruth's Way's Consulting Services for Parents Who Want Their Daughters To Succeed, LLC.
Founded in 2005, Ruth's Way, Inc. is a faith-based, nonprofit organization, and the only existing Achievement Consulting Agency for Adolescent Girls in the world, in which we help female youth ages 10-17 to strategize achievement of their most successful futures possible! We utilize a dual strategy of social and individual programming: we provide individual and family consultations through our Achievement Consultation one-on-one sessions, and we facilitate a series of 4 strategic curricula through group activity sessions which we refer to as our Fabulous Forums, consisting of The Life Skills Just for Girls Forum, The Good Money Management Financial Literacy Forum, The Job Readiness and Employment Soft Skills Forum, and Ruth's Way's Remarkable Readiness and Employment Forum.
Penn Hills Library
The Penn Hills Library serves the Penn Hills area and focuses on removing barriers to service wherever possible, prioritizing instead the researching of and responding to community needs. The library’s mission is to empower our community by providing free and equitable access to public spaces, information, and resources."
Hebron Community Center
HCC began serving in and partnering with the community in Fall of 2021 and using the Barclay Building of Hebron Church in March 2022. The building is a hidden gem in the community, and we want to be a beacon of light and resource that is available to the community. Our mission is to provide a safe and inclusive environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can come together, fostering a sense of belonging and unity. Through a variety of programs and activities, we aim to empower individuals to cultivate their physical, mental, spiritual, and social well-being - to equip individuals to care for themselves and others, making a positive impact on our community.
NeighborWorks Western PA
NeighborWorks Western Pennsylvania is a non-profit, HUD-approved housing counseling agency providing services across the entire spectrum of homeownership, from homebuyer education to foreclosure prevention. We have been helping our neighbors reach their homeownership goals for more than 50 years.
We are proud to be a chartered member of NeighborWorks America, an approved agency for the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency’s Comprehensive Housing Counseling Initiative, and an adopter of the National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling.

Allies for Children
Allies for Children serves as a voice for policy and practice changes that improve the wellbeing of children in our community. Partnerships and collaborations are critical to make Allegheny County a better place for children to grow, thrive, and succeed. Allies for Children works with policymakers, organizations, and other stakeholders at the state and local level. Allies for Children strives to ensure that all children have the opportunities to develop into healthy, educated, and contributing members of our community. We do this by focusing in the areas of Education & Lifelong Success, Health & Wellness, and Family & Community Supports.
Crescent Hills
The Crescent Hills Civic Association was founded in 1935 for the service of the Crescent Hills Community in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. We believe by working together toward common goals and by communication and socialization, we make our community strong. We endeavor to maintain and enhance the quality of life for all the residents of Crescent Hills. We Strive to maintain property values, services and well-being. We Sponsor community events and activities for all residents throughout the year.
Gwen's Girls/Caring Connections for YOUth
Gwen’s Girls provides holistic, gender-specific programs, education, and experiences for at-risk children and young adults in Allegheny County. A community-led initiative developed by the Black Girls Equity Alliance (BGEA) that provides access to supports and services to ANY YOUTH, up to age 18, living in Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, PA as a diversion to the Juvenile Justice and Child Welfare Systems.
Rosedale Civic Association
The Rosedale Civic Association, a 501C3 organization, promotes fellowship and neighborly spirit. We believe by working together toward common goals and by communication and socialization, we make our community strong and a wonderful place to live. We endeavor to maintain and enhance the quality of life for all residents of Rosedale. Annual membership and fund drives help pay for various projects in and around the Rosedale Community. Such as, revitalization of the park, maintenance of flowerbeds around signs, purchase of equipment for the Rosedale Fire Department and maintenance of the Rosedale Fire Department building. Membership in the RCA is $10 a household. Fees and donations towards projects are greatly appreciated. We welcome your participation in all our activities.
Safe Spaces
Safe Spaces at Grind Mode Multimedia Productions is a free Out of School Time Program servicing high school students in grades 9-12 in the Penn Hills. Safe Spaces offers youth and opportunity to thrive socially and emotionally through strategic partnerships with various organizations like Hebron Community Center, The Fold Church, Department of Human Services, UPMC, Auberle, Cure Violence East and more. Youth are given hot meals and snacks while in the program which operates Monday-Thursday between 2:30p-7pm.
Parenting Connections
The Parenting Connections East Home Visiting Program provides vital services and resources to families with children from birth to kindergarten entry. Our team works directly with families in their homes to support:
